Glass Door

Homeless charity that partners with churches to offer shelter and support. Night shelter available during winter and daytime support at various places in West London. Guests can eat lunch, find clothes, take showers and do their laundry. Haircuts and medical advice also available.

NOVA – New Opportunities

A voluntary community organisation in K&C that provides basic skills training and support in finding employment. They run courses in literacy, numeracy, ICT and ESOL, and offer advice and workshops in CV writing, job seeking and interview techniques.

St Cuthbert’s Day Centre

An open door drop-in centre for all marginalised, vulnerable people in Earl’s Court and surrounding areas. Provides a range of activities as well as three-course meals served Monday to Friday to people living on or below the poverty line. Staffed, including those with mental health training. Free use of computers, Wi-Fi, laundry service and showers.

Streetlytes

Drop-in service on Mondays between 6pm to 9pm offering a free hot meal, friendship and donated items.  It is open access to anyone who is homeless or vulnerably housed, or who can’t afford the pay for both food and housing costs.

The Upper Room

Support for homeless people, those who are isolated, lonely or marginalised, ex-offenders and those persistently excluded by other services. Free evening meal available Monday-Friday 5.30pm-6.45pm. Informal counselling in English and Polish. Employment support.

Activity centre for homeless people recently resettled in the KCW (especially those at risk of losing their tenancies), and for people who are vulnerable or excluded.
